Police seize 90 grams of marijuana in Pike County

An Evansville man was arrested on several charges in Pike County last night.
Around 5:00 pm, a state trooper was patrolling I-69 near the 48 mile-marker when he observed a 2007 Dodge Charger traveling southbound at 104 mph.
The trooper stopped the car and identified the driver as 31-year-old Sergio Weathers of Evansville.
The trooper reported smelling raw marijuana inside the vehicle and upon further search, he located approximately 90 grams of marijuana.
The driver displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. Further investigation revealed Weathers had a blood alcohol content of .15% and was under the influence of marijuana.
Weathers was arrested and taken to the Pike County Jail where he is currently being held on bond.
He is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction.
