The Daviess County Health Department is reporting 48 new cases of COVID-19 since Wednesday.
The Health Department did not provide any data on how many of those were vaccinated or unvaccinated.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic now stands at 4,445 for the county.
The total number of deaths recorded is at 111. Daviess County remains in Orange Status and is currently showing a 7-day positivity rate of 11.9% on the state’s COVID map.
Martin, Knox, Dubois, and Gibson Counties remain in Orange Status. Pike County is currently in Red Status.
The Daviess County Health Department also noted that they will now be reporting new COVID cases once a week on Fridays.
