A Boonville man is looking at a trespassing charge after he refused to put on a mask at his local school board meeting.
Boonville Police say they arrested 38-year-old Kyle Schneider after he refused to mask-up or leave the meeting.
The Warrick County School Board requires everyone at its meetings to wear a mask.
Warrick County School Corporation Superintendent Todd Lambert noted that the incident was peaceful and was resolved quickly. He said their goal was to just have Schneider put on a mask and have him participate in the meeting.
After he reportedly refused to do so, that’s when Boonville police stepped in.
Schneider received a felony charge and was booked into the Warrick County Jail.
