Donna R. Williams went home to be her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the age of 72 in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on Sunday, October 12, 1949 in Cobden, Illinois.
She is survived by a brother Bill Williams, sister Patricia Welte and husband Charles, brother Gene Williams, sister Cathi Carie, best friend Joyce Kasinger, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara Wininger, Audrey Brown, Robert Williams, Debbie Barber, Glen Williams, Hazel Newberry, Neoma Merydith, Charles Evan Williams, father Charles Joshua Williams, mother Thelma Marie Saddler Williams, along with other family members.
Donna R. Williams graduated from South Knox High School in 1968 she was in the first class to graduate from there. She is a member of the Christ Community Church in Vincennes, and worked as a CNA at Good Samaritan in Vincennes for many years. She loved her church family very much. Reading her bible daily was very important to her. She loved to travel and see the mountains, and the oceans and enjoy the peace of the breeze it gave her. Her nieces and nephews were like her own children she loved to spend time with and spoil them. Family was very important to her. Her best friend Joyce Kasinger and her would talk daily and loved to spend time with each other as much as they could. She will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Donna Rae Williams will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 524 Broadway Street Vincennes, Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Ron Fellows, Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Monroe City, Indiana at a later date. Under the direction of Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Vincennes, Indiana.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
