The Indiana Military Museum is set to dedicate another piece of World War II History.
The dedication of a WWII Stearman aircraft is set for Saturday, November 13th, at 11:00 am.
The aircraft, in flying condition, was donated earlier this year to the Museum by Lawrenceville Illinois native, Retired Admiral Gene Sizemore and his wife.
This aircraft was used for training purposes and was one of the most essential for the US Army and Navy during WWII.
It had a top speed of 124 mph and a range of 505 miles with a two-man crew.
Admiral Gene Sizemore and his son, Admiral Bill Sizemore will be present with family and friends.
The dedication will take place in the Museum’s Annex on Saturday, November 13th, at 11:00 am.
All are invited to come out to this event.
