William Lester Healey, 73, passed away at 4:52 pm on November 10, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN. Bill was born on July 2, 1948, in Gary, IN and was the son of Harry and Lois Healy. He married Sherry Colbert and she preceded him in death. He then married Wanda Lowrance on February 16, 2001, and she survives.
Bill was a member of Bethany Christian Church and had worked for Hoover Procession Products and drove a truck. He was a member of the Charity Masonic Lodge #30 and Hadi Shrine. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Healy of Washington; sons, Derrick Healy and his wife Patsy of Washington, Darryl Healy of Holland, IN; stepdaughter, Lisa Guess and her husband Bob of Robinson, IL, stepson, Chris Hoke and his wife Lynda of Robinson, IL; his brother, Mike Healy and his wife Sherri of Washington; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Sherry Healy, sons, William Healy, Jr. and Darin Healy, and his sisters, Wanda and Carol.
Friends may visit with Bill’s family from 3-5 pm on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, IN. Bills funeral service will take place at 5:00 pm on Monday at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Watson officiating.
