Purdue men’s basketball will look to improve to 3-0 when the Boilermakers host Wright State at Mackey Arena Tuesday night. The Boilers moved up one spot to number six in the AP Top 25 after handily beating Bellarmine and Indiana State last week. Purdue is led by the sophomore combo of Jaden Ivey and Zach Edey, who are both averaging 19 points per game. Tip off between Purdue and Wright State is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern with coverage on BTN. Later in the night, Notre Dame hosts High Point at 8 p.m. The Fighting Irish are 1-0 after beating Cal State Northridge Saturday.

Indiana forward Trayce Jackson-Davis was named the men’s Big Ten Player of the Week Monday. The Greenwood native averaged 20 points, 10.5 rebounds and five blocks in a pair of victories for the Hoosiers. IU is 2-0 after beating Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois, and hosts St. John’s Wednesday night as part of the Gavitt Games between the Big Ten and Big East. The Indiana women’s team moved up to fourth in the AP Poll after dominating Kentucky Sunday in Bloomington. The Hoosiers were ranked eighth last week, which was already the highest in program history. After two games this week, the Hoosiers face defending national champion and seventh-ranked Stanford on Thanksgiving in the Bahamas. All-American forward Mackenzie Holmes was also named Big Ten Player of the Week after scoring a career-best 29 in the win over the Wildcats.

The Indiana Pacers scored just 10 points in the fourth quarter, and fell to the New York Knicks 92-84 at Madison Square Garden. The Blue and Gold were outscored 23-10 in the final quarter, and did not make a field goal over the last seven minutes. Malcolm Brogdon had 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists to lead Indiana, while Domantas Sabonis added 21 points and 15 rebounds. The Pacers shot 2-for-20 in the fourth quarter and saw their two-game winning streak come to an end. Rookie guard Chris Duarte missed his first game of the season with a shoulder injury. Indiana led by as many as 12 in the third quarter. The Pacers’ three-game road trip continues Wednesday night against the Pistons in Detroit.
