Elenore E. Kirby Sanchez, 75 of Vincennes (formerly of Washington before she became ill), went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 while surrounded by her loving family.
Elenore was born in Germany on August 23, 1946, to the late James Kirby and Irmgard Auspurg Gartner.
Elenore was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed; cooking family dinners, shopping, and trying her luck on the slot machines at the French Lick Casino. However, her greatest joy was buying things for her grandchildren; her family was truly the driving force in her life. Elenore retired from Perdue Farms after twenty-two years of employment.
Elenore will be greatly missed by; her loving husband, Francisco Sanchez; children, Charles Arnold, Aaron Arnold, Barbara Arnold McGee, Sylvia Serrano Hand (Robert), and Jessica Serrano Johnson (Josh); twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry Kirby, Wayne Kirby, Russell Kirby, Peggy Underwood, Dinah Williams, Linda Underwood, Patricia Kirby, and Mike Gartner; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; and sister, Lela Dale Carder.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut St. Washington, IN 47501. With a service following at 1:00 P.M.
