One person is dead, and another seriously injured following a weekend crash in Sullivan County.
Crews were dispatched to the scene around 5:30 pm Sunday.
The crash happened just northeast of Carlisle on CR 500 East near CR 650 South.
Upon arrival, authorities found the body of 40-year-old Jeremy Jewell who had died as a result of his injuries. Another occupant identified as 22-year-old Isiah Jewell was airlifted from the scene and remains in critical condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed the two occupied a Toyota Camry that left the roadway and struck a tree.
Authorities have not yet been able to determine which individual was the driver.
State Police is assisting Sullivan County Authorities with the investigation.
