Man Sentenced to 28 Years in Prison for 2018 Robbery

A man convicted of robbery with a serious bodily injury has been sentenced to 28 years in prison.
Ricky Brochin II was convicted earlier this month and was also found to be a habitual offender.
The case stems from a 2018 incident that involved a carjacking and robbery on Broadway Street in Vincennes.
According to the Knox County Prosecutor’s Office, Brochin had 12 prior felonies and 14 prior misdemeanors, some of which, included incidents of violence.
