Jasper Police responded to a two-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon.
The accident was reported a little after 4:00 pm at the intersection of Cathy Lane and Mill Street.
The vehicles involved were a 2017 Nissan driven by Ada Monge of Jasper and a 2003 Ford driven by James Kluemper, also of Jasper.
Police say both drivers stopped at the intersection and then proceeded forward assuming they each had the right of way.
The Nissan then struck the Ford and was totaled on scene.
The Ford sustained damages estimated around $1,500.
No injuries were reported.
