The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office gave back to a local school last week.
Last month, Holy Trinity Catholic School Student Ambassadors and staff invited local law enforcement officers to attend All School Mass.
They also presented them with gift boxes filled with snacks and hand-written letters from students to show their appreciation.
After enjoying the snacks and letters, Deputy Chris Tanner contacted each employee with the idea of giving back to HTCS.
Employees of the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office came together and purchased school supplies, cleaning supplies and several other miscellaneous items to give back to Holy Trinity Catholic School in appreciation for what their students and staff had done for each of them.
In a social media post, the department thanked the school in addition to Deputy Tanner who lead the give back effort.
