The Daviess County Health Department released the latest local COVID-19 numbers over the weekend.
On Friday, the department reports 187 new cases have been confirmed between December 17th and December 31st.
Two new deaths were also reported bringing that total to 123.
According to the state’s COVID map, Daviess County is still in Orange Status and is now showing a 7-day positivity rate of 9.9%.
Martin, Greene, Pike, Knox, and Dubois County are also in the Orange.
Gibson County is now in Red Status.
