A Jasper man was arrested after a hit and run on Sunday.
On January 2nd, Jasper Police Officers were dispatched to the intersection of US 231 and State Road 162 to the report of a hit and run incident.
Police say that after further investigation, they determined the incident occurred near the intersection of US 231 and South Witz Rd.
The license plate and description of the vehicle was provided to police who later located the suspect vehicle and spoke with the registered owner, identified as 39-year-old Yuliet Fuentes-Pena of Jasper.
Pena was then arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
He was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.
