A Dubois County Sheriff’s Deputy is being recognized for a decade of service.
Deputy Lance Lorey began his career with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office in 2011.
Prior to his career with the Sheriff’s Office, he served in the US Army for 6 years on active duty as a tank crewman and 2 years in the US Army Reserves.
He was deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he received the Bronze Star metal and was also a Purple Heart recipient.
In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, range time, and spending time with family.
He was presented with a plaque and received special thanks from the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department on Monday.
