Barbara A. Harrell, 58, passed away January 23, 2022. She was born in Washington, April 6, 1963, to Donel Ray and Marilyn Veronica (Clements) White. On June 20, 1981, she married James “Jim” W. Harrell, and he survives.
Barbara graduated from Vincennes University summa cum laude with an Associate Degree in Psychology. She was employed at the Viking Mart in Montgomery. Barbara enjoyed shopping, scrapbooking, and crafting. She was an avid flower gardener, especially sunflowers. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Barbara was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery.
Those who now miss Barbara and mourn her passing include her husband, Jim Harrell; daughter, Brianna Harrell of Montgomery; and son, Jessie Harrell of Alfordsville. Barbara was blessed with three grandchildren: Bentley Harrell, Royce Davidson, and Chevelle Harrell. She leaves one brother, Mike (Jamie) White of Petersburg.
During her lifetime, Barbara knew the loss of her parents, Donel and Marilyn White; and a brother, Rick White.
Donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to St. Peter Cemetery, 7660 East US Highway 50, Montgomery, Indiana 47558.
A Celebration of Life for Barbara A. Harrell will begin with visitation, 4:00 – 6:00 pm, Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana. Beginning at 6:00 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, Pastor Michael White will officiate.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 27, 2022, with interment to follow at the St. Peter Cemetery, Montgomery.
