Indiana’s Sheriff’s Association Accepting Scholarship Applications

Daviess County Sheriff Gary Allison has announced that the Indiana’s Sheriff’s Association will be awarding scholarships to qualified high school seniors who are pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice studies.
There will be about forty $750 scholarships awarded to qualifying students throughout the state.
To qualify for one of these scholarships, applicants must be an Indiana resident, a current member the Indiana’s Sheriff’s Association or a dependent child or grandchild of a current member.
Applicants must also be a full-time student in a law enforcement field.
Applications are available at the school guidance counselor offices and the Sheriff’s Department.
An application can also be found online at indianasheriffs.org.
Applications must be submitted by April 1st.
