Warrick County Traffic Stop Results in Drug Arrest

Several grams of meth were seized during a traffic stop in Warrick County.
Last Thursday night, Indiana State Police pulled over a car for diving left on center on Oak Grove Road.
The driver was identified as 23-year-old Audrey-Jestina Beverly of Evansville.
A front seat male passenger initially lied about his identity but was later identified as 30-year-old Alexander Burton of Newburgh. He had an arrest warrant out of Vanderburgh County for Failure to Appear.
A rear seat male passenger was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Holland of Evansville, who had a seizure while at the scene. He was taken to a nearby hospital and was also found to have an arrest warrant out of Vanderburgh County.
Officers later searched the vehicle and located 14.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a backpack containing ten syringes, long plastic tubing, and a digital scale.
Troopers were able to determine the suspected meth and syringes belonged to Burton.
Burton and Beverly were arrested and taken to the Warrick County Jail where they are currently being held on bond.
Holland was summoned to appear in the Warrick County Superior Court for False Informing and Refusal to Identify.
