Two Arrested in Vincennes on Multiple Drug Charges

A traffic stop in Vincennes resulted in two drug arrests this week.
On Wednesday, Vincennes Police Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Perry St around 5:25 pm.
One of the occupants was identified as Megan Harsha who had an active felony arrest warrant in Knox County.
During the stop, officers say they observed a hypodermic syringe as well as a small plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine in plain view.
Officers had the other occupants of the vehicle detained. A male subject was later identified as David Blanchette who was found to have two felony arrest warrants out of Knox County and Pike County.
During a search of the vehicle, a backpack was located containing multiple items of drug contraband, more suspected meth, syringes, and items commonly associated with dealing illegal drugs.
Blanchette was arrested on the two outstanding warrants in addition to being charged with Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Harsha was placed under arrest for her Knox County felony warrant and additionally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Both were booked into the Knox County jail.
