COVID cases continue to drop.
The Daviess County Health Department released the latest COVID numbers on Friday.
The department says 80 cases of the virus have been confirmed since Friday, February 4th.
That’s down significantly compared to the previous week’s 7-day total which was 215.
While cases have dropped, the department did report an additional 7 deaths bringing that total to 140.
Most of the state is still in Red Status with some northern counties beginning to shift back into Orange.
Daviess and the surrounding counties remain in Red Status.
Daviess County’s current 7-day positivity rate is 22.5%.
