The Barr Reeve Vikings won at home Saturday night topping Wood Memorial in a conference game 69-36. The Vikings will make up their game with Jasper tomorrow.

In the 3A girls regional at Charlestown, Vincennes fell in the semifinals to Gibson Southern 61-53. The Titans played for the championship against Silver Creek and lost 53-39.
In the 2A regional, North Knox beat South Ripley in the opener 42-26. The Warriors played for the Championship against The Forest Park Rangers and fell short in the title game 46-39.
In Class A, Tecumseh defeated Trinity Lutheran 67-56, and then claimed their first regional championship holding off Lanesville 47-46.
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 to win Super Bowl 56 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford led a 15-play, 79-yard drive in the final minutes, culminating with the game-winning 1-yard touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp with 1:25 remaining. Kupp caught eight passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns, and was named Super Bowl MVP. It is the second Super Bowl title for the Rams, and their first since 1999; when the franchise played in St. Louis. The Bengals are now 0-3 in Super Bowls. Former Purdue tight end Brycen Hopkins caught four passes for 47 yards for Los Angeles.
Purdue came back from down 12 points in the second half, and escaped with a 62-61 win over Maryland Sunday at Mackey Arena. Jaden Ivey broke a 59-all tie with a three-point play with 13.1 seconds left to give the third-ranked Boilermakers the victory. Maryland made a pair of free throws to get within one with 8.1 seconds left, and a controversial turnover on the ensuing inbounds gave the ball back to the Terrapins. Trevion Williams blocked Maryland’s final shot and Purdue emerged with the victory. The Boilers rattled off a 13-0 run midway through the second half to turn a 12-point deficit into a one-point lead. Sasha Stefanovic led Purdue with 17 points, and Ivey scored all 11 of his points in the second half. The Boilers are 22-4 and 11-4 in the Big Ten, while the Terrapins dropped to 11-14. Purdue plays at Northwestern Wednesday night.
Anthony Edwards scored 37 points, and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Indiana Pacers 129-120 Sunday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Pacers overcame an 18-point deficit in the third quarter and got within two, but Minnesota kept Indiana at bay over the final 12 minutes. The Blue and Gold have lost six in a row to drop to 19-39. Tyrese Haliburton had 22 points and 16 assists in his second game with the Pacers. Oshae Brissett added 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Lance Stephenson scored 21. The T-Wolves swept the season series. Minnesota made 18-of-34 3-pointers, while Indiana made just 13-of-45 from beyond the arc. Pacers guard Chris Duarte left the game with a sore big toe and did not return. The Blue and Gold are on the road Tuesday night against the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks.
