The number of people eligible for $125 payments this spring under the state’s automatic taxpayer refund law appears to be expanding.
Inside Indiana Business reports that the Senate approved a bill allowing about 450,000 people who don’t earn enough to owe any state income taxes to be eligible for the payments.
The bill heads to Governor Holcomb’s desk.
He is expected to sign it.
