Local Authorities seized several grams of meth and over $10,000 in cash on Friday.
On February 18, officers with the Washington Police Department, DEA Task Force, Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, and Indiana State Police were investigating in the area of Maxwell Ave.
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle driven by Jose Guerrero Alcantara. He was found to be in possession of a large amount of Methamphetamine and was arrested.
A short time later, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle occupied by Jorge Gonzales Ramos, Noelia Aviles Corado, and others. A K9 unit located another large amount of meth in the vehicle. Both individuals were arrested on drug charges.
Later that day, officers served a Narcotics Search Warrant at a residence on Maxwell Avenue and reported locating additional Methamphetamine and a large amount of cash.
In total for the day, officers seized approximately 29 grams of Methamphetamine and more than $10,000 in cash.
