Jasper Man Wearing Gorilla Mask Arrested for Burglary

A Jasper man is facing several charges after breaking into a residence wearing a gorilla mask.
The Jasper Police Department was notified of a residential burglary that occurred over the weekend.
Video surveillance showed a male subject in a gorilla mask enter the residence and take multiple items, including a handgun.
The subject was identified as 36-year-old Kyle Coleman of Jasper.
A search warrant was issued to search Coleman’s residence where police found the handgun along with marijuana, legend drugs, and paraphernalia.
Coleman was arrested and booked into the Dubois County Jail.
He is charged with Burglary, Residential Entry, Theft, Neglect of a Dependent, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Legend Drug, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
