Due to the significant decrease in COVID-19 transmission in the community, Good Samaritan has made updates to their visitor guidelines.
The most notable change is allowing two visitors for inpatient visitation.
Outpatient and medical practice patients are still restricted to one visitor aged 16 or older and only if needed.
Good Samaritan says that although the number of COVID transmissions has decreased, they ask all non-essential visitors to please refrain from visiting the facilities at this time.
As a reminder, Good Samaritan asks everyone to do their part to stay safe and keep others safe when attending medical appointments.
They say if you are experiencing COVID symptoms, please call ahead to your provider’s office prior to entering the building.
Virtual visits are also encouraged if an in-person visit is not necessary.
In addition, masks must still be worn in all offices regardless of vaccination status.
The full visitor guidelines can be found on the hospital website.
