High Speed Chase on I-69 Leads to Arrest

An Evansville man was arrested on multiple charges yesterday after a high-speed chase spanning Daviess and Pike County.
On Sunday around 1:00 pm, Indiana State Police advised area law enforcement that a Chrysler 300 Series was traveling southbound at an excess of 130 miles per hour on I-69 near mile marker 82.
Indiana State Police attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver refused to stop. Indiana State Police and WPD officers began a pursuit but later called off the chase.
Eventually stop sticks were deployed and the vehicle came to a stop on the ramp near the Petersburg exit.
Pike County officers then took the male into custody who was identified as 37-year-old Toddrick Ogburn of Evansville.
He was then transported to the Daviess County Security Center and charged with Reckless Driving, Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Marijuana, and Dealing in a Schedule II Substance.
