Barr-Reeve Community Schools invites the community to celebrate the completion of their expansion project.
They will hold a celebration this Sunday, March 20th at 2:00 pm. The event will feature a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony in addition to student-led tours of the new facility and fieldhouse.
The school district launched a $16.1 million progressive design-build project in 2018 to provide additions and renovations to the school. The project was completed in the fall of last year.
The school’s expanded footprint now accommodates primary grades to form a K-12 campus and provides state-of-the-art classrooms. The project also included a new competition gymnasium that was completed in the summer of 2020.
Barr Reeve Superintendent Dr. Travis Madison says they are excited to show off the work completed at Barr-Reeve Community Schools over the past few years. He added the project updates and additions will benefit all academic, fine arts, and athletic programs for years to come.
