Time changes happen twice a year and you just must go along with it.
That said, legislation passed in the Senate that would put an end to the time known as Daylight Saving Time.
It’s called the Sunshine Protection Act and it passed unanimously with a voice vote on Tuesday.
If signed by President Biden, it would make Daylight Saving Time permanent.
Dr. Laura Wilson, political science professor at the University of Indianapolis, says Daylight Saving Time was a product of its time decades ago when the United States’ economy had stronger ties to agriculture.
She says things are much different now, and it’s time to get states on the same page.
