Jasper Man Charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident

A Jasper man was arrested Sunday morning for leaving the scene of accident.
Just before 11:30 am, Jasper Police were called to 10^th & Newton about a truck vs moped accident.
No injuries were reported, however, the moped caused about $2,000 damage to the 2003 GMC Sierra truck.
The driver of the moped had also fled the scene.
He was identified as 30-year-old Andrew Masterson and was arrested at his home later in the day.
He is charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Possession of Paraphernalia.
