Washington’s City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday night. Prior to the meeting the Council will hold a public hearing on how to appropriate funds the City of Washington has received from the ARP Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. The Council members will then consider the ordinance covering the appropriation at the Council meeting. Following the Council meeting, the Washington Board of Public Works and Safety will also meet and hear a request from the Daviess County Chamber of Commerce to close Main Street on Saturday, April 30, for the annual Wine and Brew Festival.
