Today is National Vietnam War Veterans Day.
March 29th is a day set aside each year to pay special tribute to the 9 million Americans who served during the Vietnam War era and to those who never received the recognition they deserved when they returned home from the war.
Leslie Heschelman with the Washington VFW says this Saturday’s ceremony is an annual tradition to honor Vietnam Veterans in the community…
The ceremony will be held at 11:00 am at the Washington VFW this Saturday April 2nd.
Doors open at 10:00 am and a meal will be served following the ceremony.
The community is invited to attend.
