A Jasper man faces charges after police say he tried to steal merchandise from Walmart.
Around 8:00 pm last night, JPD officers were dispatched to the Jasper Walmart in reference to a male subject concealing items and under ringing merchandise.
The male subject was identified as 49-year-old Jaime Menijvar Pacheco.
After a brief investigation, he was taken into custody and booked into the Dubois County Jail.
He is charged with one count of Theft.
