In other baseball match-ups today, Loogootee plays South Knox and North Daviess will face Evansville Christian.
A walk-off home run by Kaylee McDaniel pushed Barr Reeve Softball over North Daviess 9-7 Saturday in Montgomery. North Daviess faces Eastern Greene today, while Barr Reeve travels to Wood Memorial.
Washington Softball fell to Sullivan Saturday 12-1. The Lady Hatchets play Lawrenceville on Tuesday.

The Indiana Pacers’ will only be picking once in the first round of the upcoming NBA Draft. Indiana lost Cleveland’s first rounder with the Cavs failing to make it past the play-in tournament on Friday. Indiana would have received the pick as part of the Caris LeVert trade they made with Cleveland during the season. Indiana is currently projected to have a top five pick in this year’s draft after going 25-57 and have a ten percent chance of getting the number one pick.
Indiana Hoosier Basketball is looking for the next faces of the team. Mike Woodson’s squad is busy on the recruiting trail, already grabbing Jakai Newton, a top 75 prospect according to 247sports. Newton helped lead the Newton Rams to a 24-6 record. Indiana also announced the addition of Gabe Cupps and an official visit from former Wichita State Guard Dexter Dennis early this week. Dennis grabbed five rebounds per game last season for Wichita State.
Notre Dame recruiting is not going as planned. The Irish lost committed corner Justyn Rhett after decommitted over the weekend. While the exact reason for the four star corner’s decision is not fully known, it is speculated he wishes to seek opportunities elsewhere. With Rhett’s departure, the Irish only have three corners with four or more years of eligibility, Ryan Barnes, Philip Riley and Chance Tucker. Notre Dame also added two more talented secondary players in Benjamin Morrison and Jaden Mickey through recruitment.
