DNR Asking Residents to Watch for Signs of Avian Flu

dnr-9

The Avian Flu bears watching both on farms, and in the wild says Indiana DNR.
That’s because of the way it spreads and its presence in Indiana.
The DNR says they could use your help if you observe any wild birds, especially waterfowl or raptors, displaying signs of the avian flu, such as: like lack of energy, loss of appetite and coordination; purple discoloration and/or swelling of various body parts; diarrhea; nasal discharge; coughing; or sneezing, and abnormal eggs.
