Fishing this weekend?
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources announced that they will be holding a free day this Sunday, May 1st.
The normal gate charge for entering state parks will be waived for all guests Sunday.
Additionally, Indiana residents are able to fish that day without a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp, though standard size and bag limits will apply to those who keep fish.
Free Fishing Day applies to all public waters in Indiana.
