A Hoosier has died in Oklahoma.
Drake Brooks, a native of Evansville, was storm chasing with two other University of Oklahoma students Friday night.
WFIE’s sister station KWSO reports Brooks, and the other two students were driving on an interstate when their car hydroplaned, slid into the left lane and was hit by a tractor-trailer truck.
According to a press release, the students were stuck in the car for five hours before they were pulled out.
