A man was arrested in Jasper last week after leaving the scene of an accident.
Last Thursday, the Jasper Police Department was dispatched to an accident where a vehicle struck another vehicle and then left the scene.
The accident happened in the Walmart parking lot.
After obtaining surveillance images from Walmart, an officer with the Jasper Police Department located the vehicle matching the description at the Super 8.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 41-year-old Rick Stafford of Webb City, Missouri.
Stafford was charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
