Fisher will drive a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z-oh six and lead the field May 29th. Fisher drove in the Indy 500 nine times between 2000 and 2010, a record for women drivers, and she remains the fastest woman qualifier in race history. The Ohio native was the first woman to win a pole position in an IndyCar race when she qualified first at Kentucky Speedway in 2002, and she finished a career-best second at Homestead in 2001.
