Dianna Ruth Thompson, 75, of Shoals, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at her home. She was born November 7, 1946, in Washington, Indiana to the late Joseph Fredrick and Patricia Ruth (Raney) Williams.
Dianna married Norman Thompson on March 8, 1998, and he preceded her in death.
Dianna was a member of the Loogootee United Methodist, where she was a member of the Quilters Club. She also volunteered at the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry and LUMC Food Bank. Dianna enjoyed cross-stitching, cross word puzzles and collecting angels and dolls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Thompson; parents, Joseph F. and Patricia R. Williams; and sister, Linda Cahill.
Dianna is survived by her children, William (Angela) Stanley of Vincennes, Michele Taylor of Decatur, Texas and Charlene (Jesse) Breidenbaugh of Shoals; grandchildren, Samantha, Jade, Katie, Christopher, Anna, Addie, Kasie, Cheyennena, Gregory, Andy, Mike, Dalton, Matt, Max and Mitch; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda (Lou) Stumpp of Maryville, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Loogootee United Methodist Church Quilter Club.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the Loogootee United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2022, at Sugarland Memory Garden in Washington. Condolences may be made online at www.blakefuneralhomes.com
