Indianapolis Colts resumed organized team activities on Wednesday providing the first 11-on-11 look at the 2022 Colts roster. The blue and white had a 90-minute session in helmets going full speed in 7-on-7 work. Defensive back Kenny Moore was nowhere to be seen in the midst of his contract issues that stem from the Colts signing cornerback Stephon Gilmore to more money than the pro bowler is set to make the next two seasons. On the injury front, Julian Blackmon was seen participating in positional drills just eight months removed from tearing his Achilles in practice last October but linebacker Darius Leonard was a spectator as he’s still dealing with an ankle injury.
On Wednesday, Andretti Autosport confirmed that series rookie Kyle Kirkwood will drive the No. 27 Honda in 2023 marking the end of Alexander Rossi’s seven-year tenure with the team. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team begins its run in the 2022 NCAA Tournament on Thursday when they take on Texas Tech at 2:00 pm on the ACC Network. The Irish are a part of the Statesboro Regional hosted by No. 16 overall seed Georgia Southern. If they win on Thursday, they would take on the winner of Georgia Southern and UNC Greensboro. Notre Dame finished the season 35-14 and 16th in the D1Baseball.com Top 25.
