A Tuesday morning crash has claimed the life of a young Bicknell girl.
The accident was reported around 7:30 am at Water Tower Road on SR 67.
The crash involved three vehicles and one of them was reported to be on fire.
There were multiple injuries, one entrapment, and a fatality.
17-year-old Hayla Roark was pronounced dead at the scene by Knox County Coroner Karen Donovan.
Other injuries were also reported and a helicopter was called to the site of the crash.
Sheriff’s deputies asked motorists to avoid the area until about 11:00 am. The accident is currently under investigation.
An ambulance from DCH assisted Knox County crews.
