Indiana State Police recently held their annual awards ceremony to recognize troopers and state police civilian employees.
Trooper Adam McBeth has been selected as the “2021 Trooper of the District” by the Command Staff from the Jasper Post.
McBeth graduated from the 75th ISP Recruit School in 2015. He grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Martin County in 1997 where he later graduated from Loogootee Jr./Sr. High School in 2003. He attended Vincennes University, earning an associate degree in Conservation Law Enforcement in 2005.
McBeth then enlisted into the United States Army as a Military Police Officer and paratrooper in 2007 serving 5 years. He was also deployed in Afghanistan from May 2009 through May 2010.
Upon his graduation from the Indiana State Police Academy, McBeth was assigned to the Jasper Post. He has patrolled Martin, and Daviess Counties and is now primarily patrolling Dubois County.
Trooper McBeth currently resides in Dubois County with his wife and children.
