There is more help for Hoosier children.
The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs announced the Military Family Relief Fund Operation Back to School program is now open for applicants.
Hoosier veteran families going through a tough time financially may be eligible for up to $500 for each dependent.
The money will be spent on back-to-school supplies and other school-related needs.
This applies for dependents currently attending Kindergarten through 12th grade and/or full-time college students that live in a vet’s home.
