Vickie Lea (Perkinson) Kirchoff, born on February 25, 1950 in Scott County, Indiana. She graduated from North Knox High School in 1968. Her parents were Alice Louise (Abbott) and Claude Leon Perkinson Sr. Both parents are deceased. Vickie
married Tom J. Kirchoff on August 28, 1971. and they had three sons; Tim and Anissa (Napier) Kirchoff of Jasper, Ga. Dustyn Kirchoff of Buford, Ga. Jon and Stacy (Kluesner) Kirchoff of Fort Branch, In.; 8 grandchildren, that were the pride of her life, Zayta Kirchoff, Jacob Kirchoff, Zayne Kirchoff, McKayla Kirchoff, Zairyn Kirchoff, Caden Kirchoff, Zaxtyn Kirchoff, and Caleb Kirchoff (deceased).
She was one of nine siblings all who are surviving;

Vickie was very active in church. Running and working in the nurseries. Teaching children’s Sunday school classes and coordinating and teaching junior church.
Vickie had a very diverse working career. Went to work as an operator for Indiana Bell out of high school. She worked as a teacher’s aid and office assistant for 10 years in the Oconee Co. School system. Worked in a hospital and two private medical practices. Served as the general manager secretary in an Indiana Farm Bureau Co-op. Worked for Walmart in the accounting office and vision center. Worked in the business office of Lake Arrowhead a private residential community.
Vickie loved her crafts and sewing. Painted baskets, gourds, and wood plaques. Was creative making bead jewelry. Made afghans, cross stitch, etc. Her biggest project was sewing and embroidery children’s clothes. She made numerous curtains for her homes. The family will receive friends Saturday July 16, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. with a service immediately following 2:00 P.M. at the Freelandville Christian Church, she will be laid to rest in the Freelandville Christian Cemetery.
