Daviess County Republicans have selected the next Daviess County Auditor.
Jennifer Welsh was elected by unanimous vote Thursday night at the Daviess County Precinct Committeeman Caucus.
She was sworn in on Friday.
Welsh takes over for Patty Ball, who has left for a software company.
Welsh will fill out her term, which was set to expire at the end of the year.
She is also running for auditor unopposed in November.
