Our Community Foundation has awarded a grant to Real Recovery, Inc. for the development of a new program. The new program will help those recovering from addictions and traumas and is called Recovery Café Daviess County.
The grant will be used to support franchising and start-up costs for the program. James Hay with Real Recovery says it’s being modeled after a very successful Recovery Café program in Indianapolis. He says Recovery Café is a way to help all those who are recovering from addictions or trauma to maintain their journey toward recovery.
Central Christian Church has provided a location for the café as well as other services provided by Real Recovery.
