A southern Indiana judge who was suspended after being charged with a felony will be resigning.
Crawford Circuit Court Judge Sabrina Bell was suspended in May after she was arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a minor.
This isn’t the first incident for Bell, however.
In 2019, she was suspended when after bar-hopping in Indianapolis, she pointed the middle finger at men yelling at her and two other judges, leading to a fight that ended with those two other judges being shot.
The Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications, who investigated Bell, announced on Monday that she has also agreed to not seek any further office after losing her license to practice law for 150 days.
