Today is the official last day for Washington Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Dan Roach, who stepped down as the leader of the schools at the end of last school year.
Beginning this school year, Kevin Frank has taken over the duties as the new Superintendent, but Dr. Roach has been around to help through the transition for the past few months.
Dr. Dan Roach has served as Superintendent for Washington Community Schools since 2012.
He has also served on numerous community boards, including Rotary, The Chamber of Commerce, Community Foundation, Community Concert Series, and others.
Roach says he and his wife do plan to stay in Washington.
