The Odon VFW Post #9627 and Auxiliary will hold their 7th Annual Cancer Ride on September 17th. Registration will run from 9:00 am to 9:45 am, followed by the pre-ride informational meeting. The ride will take place from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and will begin and end at the Odon VFW on Elnora Street in Odon. The route is all on pavement, and the cost is $20 per vehicle and $10 per additional rider. There will be a taco bar at the end of the ride, along with a 50/50 drawing, silent auction, and raffle. T-Shirts are available if you preorder by August 15th. All participants must be 18 or older and sign a liability waiver. Proceeds from this event will benefit community members battling cancer. In the previous six years, the Post and Auxiliary have raised over $75,000, helping more than 80 families.
In addition to any gift or monetary donation, there are three levels of sponsorship detailed as follows:
BRONZE – $100: Includes sponsor name on advertisements and social media.
SILVER – $250: Includes all items from the Bronze Sponsorship level plus sponsor name on event t-shirts.
GOLD – $500: Includes all items from the Bronze Sponsorship level plus a large sponsor logo on event t-shirts, two free event t-shirts, and a ride entry for one driver and one passenger
