HOW TO BE A HERO:
This year’s plunge is dedicated to youth summer programs at West Boggs Park. The past two years have definitely showed us how important it is to have amazing times at your local parks and we want to help get more kids outside having fun, smiling, and being healthy!
As a plunger, you can create a team or take the plunge as an individual. Your goal is to raise a minimum of $100 in pledges from family, co-workers, friends, and more! The more you raise, the better chance you have of getting a big prize! We want to see your creativity too! Costumes can earn prizes, too!
Want to help support youth programming without having to jump in the icy waters? Register as Too Chicken to Plunge, and you will still have the ability to raise pledges, earn prizes, and be part of the fun! Chickens are great at giving moral support, taking awkward pics and videos, cheering, and celebrating.
Chickens also have a goal to raise $100 in pledges. The more you raise, the better chance you have of a major award!
On Saturday, January 8th, we’ll gather at the beach at 1030AM to collect waivers and prepare ourselves for the invitingly icy waters of our lovely lake. The plunge will happen at 11AM! Be ready for anything!!
